Bangalore New Airport to Anywhere in Bangalore City@300

More people heading to the airport does not mean traffic jams and congestion. Airlift has developed a commercially sustainable business model to provide carpooling services in Bangalore. A carpool is more than just a good idea; it’s now a viable option and reduces the travel cost by one-third. Customers are driven to the pick up spot from where the Innovas will take them to the airport or back home. This reduces carbon emissions by one fifth the amount, so Airlift is bringing us closer to a cleaner Bangalore city!

• Fare: Rs 300 for one way and 450 for a round trip.

• Pick up areas: JP Nagar, Jayanagar, BTM, Silk Board, HSR, Sarjapur, Marathalli, Bennergetta, St Marks Road, MG Road, Kormangala, Indiranagar, Hosur Road, Forum, Mysore Road, Vijaynagar, Chord Road, Yashwanth Nagar, Kanakpura, Town Hall, Kasturba Road, Corporation Circle, Hebbal.

• Cabs at BIAL: are available in P3 and P1 parking areas.

Airlift is a most unreliable service. I booked a cab and was supposed to
be picked up at 3.14 a.m. for a 5.45 a.m on 23/06/08. flight. Cab never came. I had
to find some other transport after waiting till 3.45 a.m. (in the company of any number of street dogs- a most unpleasant experience). They had told
me that the cab and driver details would be SMSed to me an hour before
the pickup time. The SMS came at 12.45 p.m.! I am still trying to
figure out how to get the money back. They have not even acknowledged
my email for refund after four days.

  2. Well Krishna, thanks for sharing your experience with us. This is really going hit there market share and presence if they do not improve their quality of service.
